[Costco] Danby 30 Pint Energy Star Dehumidifier $146.65 minus 25% Rebate for Ontario

Great deal if you need a small dehumidifer. This series has excellent reviews and this size normally retails for $229-$279, depending on the retailer. Total in Ontario was $129.06 shipped.

Thanks. I'm not following though, how does one get the Ontario rebate applied online? I have it in cart but don't see a way to get the 25% off.

It's cheaper in store. It's not that big so should easily fit into a smaller car if needed.

Nice find! Does anyone know if you can get the Ontario rebate if you pick it up in store as well?

Thanks for this! I know the reviews are bad on these products but I took the plunge a couple weeks ago for my new place and it's been on almost 24/7 (until it turns off when it's full). Works perfectly so far, only wish is the tank was bigger so it held more water.

Getting a second one for the mainfloor/upper floor.

the 109.99 price looks like it's already 25% off which is probally the energy rebate, however not 100% sure...

How is the noise, for those who own this? I have a really old Woods dehumidifier and it's unusable when I'm in the room.

I'd give this a try for $110 but unfortunately have only seen the 70 pint model locally ($199).

Thanks OP!
I can't afford to save that much!

The $109.99 includes the rebate so it's the same price online and in store.

Most of these dehumidifier have a hook-up to a hose (Continuous Drain Outlet). You can run a hose from the unit to the drain hole.

Been using a costco 70-pint dehumidifier that runs for a couple hours during off-peak times using a smart switch. I just keep the dehumidifier on its "brain" setting.

It's generally good to run these in the basement because they have the highest humidity in the house and there's usually a drain in the basement that you can run a hose to.

Really improves the comfort in the house without running A/C. The integrated timer in this one is a nice feature but I like the flexibility of having it on an external timer or smart switch.

This does look like a good buy.

These units are garbage.
I had the Danby 33.1 L (70 pints) of this same version and only lasted one season. Make sure you read reviews from people that actually had these units.
Took it all apart and checked everything I could, like the thermostat, wires etc. Looks like I need a new control board just like other mentioned on the internet @ ~$200.
I'll never buy another Danby.

Actually same price online as well + you can use Aero3 code to get some aeroplan miles which makes it better to buy online with free shipping!
