Usually 470 smethg i saw today in store for 279$ - South Edmonton store few left.

That's a good price. Just FYI, Edmonton has an annual cooling requirement of 6 cooling degree days. Yes, SIX for the whole year. Heating degree days is around 6300...

Depending on the orientation of your house, cooling really isn't a requirement in Edmonton. It's nice if you have huge west facing windows.

Not sure if OP is referring to the window unit. If so then it's model DAC080EB4WDB. I bought it on sale for the same price at the time and used it this summer. It is definitely one of the quieter ACs so I give it a solid recommendation.
