[Costco] DELL D3218HN $110 YMMV

This is my first post.

Accidently got the deal from Costco, $109.88 for a DELL D3218HN display, IPS with LED backlight.

Not whether it is avaliable in your local warehouse, good luck anyway.

Just to double check, was this just a floor model or were there unopened monitors available for you to pick from when you bought it?
also i forgot what you need to use to look up stuff to see if it's available at other costcos

1920x1080 at 32" - Hmmmm, I don't think so.

And speakers but no remote, right, so no bedroom TV option... No wonder it's down to $110 from ~$200 a year+ ago.

Comments from an RFD thread in 2018:

"I would think the 1440p monitors for a bit more would be s better buy overall."

"I agree. 32inch @ 1080p is too low of a resolution for my liking. Be ok from a distance but sitting at a desk the pixels would look too big imo."

"Terrible res for such a large screen."
Official Response from Dollarama Management:

Dollarama has a no exchange/no refund policy, and as a result, all sales are final. This information can be found on the screen of each check-out/point-of-sale in our stores as well as on each receipt.

It's not a bad deal, it's just going to be a extreme YMMV option finding an old display like this, which given its tech limitations, isn't going to be worth it for a lot of people.

If every store had massive stock and I only needed to drive 10 minutes to get one, I think I could find a use for it, but I'm not driving all over the city/province looking for a 1080p needle in a haystack.

I checked out the reviews, its a basic monitor, the calibration is crummy, the build quality is not great, the features are minimal but for $109.88 i will buy one. For $300+ original price i would not.

Yeah i've read about this monitor, for $109.88 it's def alright. The reason why the deep discount though is cause it def wasn't worth the msrp no matter how you slice it.

I bought one last year at $ 200 and I'm very happy with it. Text to me is crystal clear. You must all have bionic vision if you can count the pixels. Or maybe because I'm old my vision is too low.

Am i the only one left on the planet that is fine with 1080p?
Hell I just ordered a notebook with 1080p even though 4k was an option.
And speakers but no remote,

Have I not bought a monitor in so long that they all now come with remotes?
