In fact in Rand McNally they wear hats on their feet and hamburgers eat people

Hell I just ordered a notebook with 1080p even though 4k was an option.

Have I not bought a monitor in so long that they all now come with remotes?
So now I'm the only one left in the planet that is fine with 900p? Persevering Face

snobbism is rampant in computer world...1080p is great , don't mind the kids

1080p is fine for smaller screens or screens you sit far away from. It's still fine for TV's, phones, and laptops. However, a 32" screen one or two feet from your face won't look very sharp at 1080p. For this price, it probably doesn't matter much, but in general I'd want at least 1440p for a 32" monitor and ideally 4K.

you're trying to convince yourself it is not sharp when that's not the case..people can buy whatever they want but don't justify what you bought by false assumptions

This is kind of a horrendous monitor though, 1080p at 32 inches is awful. I don't see how this is a hot deal, its an item that nobody wanted because its awful.

I mean... all my content is 720p...
I still use a 1366x768 on a notebook, but that annoys me.

For full disclosure, I don't actually have a 32" monitor to test, but I'm staring at a 27" 1080p and I think it's fine.
20% bigger pixels to me would feel like it'd still be sharp.
