I don't suppose you can angle it down? Doesn't look like it has a vertical swivel. That would be handy for working on projects or repairs.

I've got a couple of the headband style and find they always slip down at the wrong time. My better ones have the band over the top of the head.

they can angle down as it can pivot on the bottom edge of the mount

While I don't disagree that on paper the lumens are different, I have a tough time believing 550 lumens for the Duracell headlamps. The $3.99 headlamp from Princess Auto is very very bright and is listed as 200 lumen.
A lot of products are notorious for misleading lumen marketing. If truly 550, then yes, good deal. But so far the $3.99 ones have proven to be a fantastic value.

Also, the skeptic in me wonders if it's 550 lumens PER HEADLAMP, or 550 total lumens within the package of 3.... Again, I'm a bit skeptical of lumen marketing.

A high quality Black Diamond headlamp, that uses 3x AAA, can output no more than 350 lumens. So yeah I agree, this "550 lumens" claim seems wrong.

Thanks everyone for highlighting the lumen marketing debacle.

The main problem i have with these headlamps using 3 AAA batteries is that i need to recharge the batteries very often. I got some from ebay using 3 aa batteries and it is way better.
