[Costco] Edifier R2000DB $259, or $208 with Costco 20% off

Pretty awesome deal considering it goes for $389 usually.

The refurbished one goes for $229 but is sold out currently

You need to combine it with the current costco 20% off

I own one of these, and I love love love them.

Highly recommended for deep bass, clear highs, and awesome detail in mids..

I have these speakers. I bought them based on the very positive reviews alone (didn't audition first). I assumed they would be replacing my Klipsch ProMedia 2.1s that I have used as laptop speakers for 10+ years. In my opinion, the R2000DBs aren't at their best for nearfield listening. They are better from 5-10 feet away. I know it's not a direct apples to apples comparison since the Klipsch's have a subwoofer and are much smaller speakers, but I still use the Klipschs with my laptop and the Edifiers get dusted off once every couple of months. They are definitely good speakers, but there is at least one better choice for nearfield listening in my opinion.

Does anyone know if the speaker can play sound from two connected devices at the same time? Thanks!

Some people don't want to put these under the TV. It kills aesthetics.

The one where almost anything you buy at Costco for a total of $1000+ is now 20% off

I was going to comment that this deal shouldn't have been posted considering that you need to spend almost 4x the cost of the speakers to get the 20% discount but even without the discount, it seems to be a fair bit cheaper than anywhere else.

Title is misleading since it's way less than 1000$ so the -20% doesn't apply (unless I'm missing something).

i agree that this should just be described with current pricing. the 20% off os far-fetched for most. good deal still

I totally agree. The posted deal is false and should be changed to reflect this. The title needs to be adjusted or this thread deleted.

Not possible, youd need the DBs variant with the dedicated sub out. Or a different subwoofer that has a line in for the source and line out for the bookshelfs

No, it isn't. You posted the price in the title with 20% off that only applies if you spend $750 more. That's misleading. Just take that part out of it.

"Unable to get the deal" - couldn't be more accurate in this case.
