Amazon basic used to be very good, but a recent check of reviews shows they are now made in China, and discharge faster. A couple people even complained of leaks.
Eneloop always reliable, low discharge.

I have seen no difference between the regular Eneloop (not Pro) AAs, Duracells, Energizers, Ikea, and and AmazonBasics in miscellaneous crap around the house. I haven't used them in a high draw application.
Remotes, clocks, wireless computer peripherals, a thousand kids' toys, workshop gadgets, kitchen gadgets, etc. The only problem was my Energizer charger (not batteries) let the cells get warmer than I'd like when charging so I used it with a timer then replaced it.
