[Costco] Gardena Retractable Hose, 100-ft $199.99

Found in the Garden Centre at Costo 3180 Laird Rd Mississauga, ON. SKU # 1376424
Similar to the Canadian Tire topic, but better because the wall hose guide is included (similar to the one in this link).

Is this the electronic or spring loaded one? I want to avoid having to charge a battery.

What is the "wall hose guide" please........??

Ok, looked up and it is an extra piece with rollers to help guide the hose around corners/etc.

Thank you.

It is the spring loaded one.
I think Costco in GTA just has this batch in stock now, since I am the first one to buy it this morning.

Was going to get the Canadian Tire one as i believe it was 15 feet longer in length, even though i do not really need that length. If the Costco one comes with the wall hose guide which is a $15 value then that turns me back on to the Costco version.

Will check my local Costco as they should all be getting stock shortly.

You can see it on the back of the box under the orange "INCLUDED".

OP has a link for what the guide looks like. Not sure I would need/want this though.

I think if you are paying $200 for a hose, you in fact are getting hosed.

Agreed, the "wall hose guide" kind of limited which direction you will be using the hose. I used my reel for both front and rear lawn, so the guide would have no use for me in this case.

On the other hand, having this reel for 8 years, and it is still going strong! I only took it off for the first couple of winters. One winter I forgot to take it off and left it outside, since then it had been always out. No cracking hose and the spring is still very strong. Would definitely recommend.

If you are in the market for a good new garden hose in GTA, this is your chance since there is no stock of the Canadian Tire Gardena hose in GTA.

The CT version says 5 year warranty on the box.
Anyone know if the warranty is stated on the Costco one?

Also here is a video I made of the CT one I bought last weekend.

It says 5 years on the box here at Costco too! I just picked one up plenty in stock at Scarborough Warden. Go go go!

5 year warranty for the Costco one (just bought it).

Costco at Warden in Scarborough has about 7 left (as of posting).

I understand having it be outside since garden centre item, but the fact that these items aren't covered properly is really bad. The top boxes are completely drenched so I had to find ones that were covered properly and didn't have as much water damage to the box.

Lots left in Ajax though.
