Same price as Best Buy, but I much rather shop at Costco for their return policy and 2% rewards as an exec member

I would suggest getting it from Home Depot -

59 Cad - Price match with Bestbuy/Staples (10%) - 10 CAD (Newsletter Subscription for orders over 50 cad).

not really the most useful device for that price, it cant do anything you cant do with an android phone. I got one for free from work, I would say its not worth any more than $40 because it still is an ok little speaker if you just want a basic speaker for music.

The bigger Google Home for $75 during the holidays was worth it. Solid kitchen radio/speaker.

I used it with my android phone. When I got back home, I used phone "OK, google, turn on the driveway lights". When I opened the door, I said "Hey google, turn on the hallway lights" to the Google Home mini in my living room. I used Google home mini to turn on the TV with chromecast (if your tv supports ECC). Before I went to bed, I asked Google mIni to adjust my temperature with my nest and start my warm mist humidifier with TP link plug.

Morning, I asked google home to make hot water with my kettle also via tp link plug.

In a word, at home, i used my google home and out of home, I switched to my phone.

Where'd you get it for $75? It was $99 everywhere. The cheapest place you could've bought it was The Source with their $25 coupon, but even then it would've been $85-$90 after tax depending on province.

Yeah, see post above. Also, that was a pretty YMMV with their horrible stocking.

During Black Friday and the Holidays, the price of the Google Home and Mini were $79 and $39 respectively in that order. Another sale holiday we would most likely see it on sale again, since Google makes money off of data (more with the recent addition of third party shopping to compete with Amazon), they can easily dip the prices for consumer demand hype.

Don't remember the Home being $79. The Mini was $39 and the Home $99 everywhere. $79 was the US sale price for the regular Home.
The first rule of RFD is, you do not talk about RFD.

$25 off at source and Lowes before tax. Still a solid value for a great and useful product. If it hits that price again people should jump on it.

I thought this would remain $39 forever, after that fire sale who would pay any more?
