[Costco] Graco 4ever - $299.99

I know these go on sale fairly often, but the Costco at 100 Biscayne Road in Brampton has the Graco 4ever on sale for 299.99. Last I checked, there were about 10 in stock. And it's the only location in GTA that has it. Good luck, fellow parents.

Ok deal - goes on sale at this price semi-frequently; if you wait for a great deal and get it from a retailer where you can stack discounts/cashback etc, can probably get it closer to $250. I think Costco warranty/returns are not that useful for this product type.

I would also recommend just getting a 3-1 at most. Sounds good in theory to have 1 car seat "4ever" but think about it - this seat is advertised to support weights up to 120 lbs - some adults aren't even 120 lbs. You will be using a car seat for many years. This thing will be gross as your kids will drool, barf, spill crap, etc all over it. You are not going to want to use it "4ever" when a backless booster is like $20-$50. Also consider if you have multiple kids you can't reuse it since it'll be occupied for the first kid 4ever - more cost efficient, cleaner and maybe more comfortable just to buy a more specific model that caters to a certain age range perfectly rather than a jack-of-all-trades model like this.

Why can't you use it for your other kids? I don't get it

This is the usual sale price outside Costco. So at least you don't need to wait for a sale.

I believe when I bought this, I got it at Bed Bath and Beyond at $300+20% off coupon. So it depends on if you want to wait for that deal. BBB is also on Rakuten and it would stack there.

Bed Bath & Beyond no longer accepts the 20% off coupon on the graco 4ever car seats.

I just flipped mine to forward facing, my little one is just over 10KG but I heard rear facing is safer?

My sister in law child is like too tall to be rear facing O think but she's still keeping it that way for extra safety, not sure about that one...

Rear-facing is much safer for them, keep your child that way for as long as you can. My child is ~25lbs and still rear-facing.

First question that comes to mind.. in all the years that one would own these, why would you let the drool, barf and crap just build up on it? It's very easy to throw the covers in the wash and they clean very well, no stains to be noticed

We wash ours about once a month, or sooner if there was a potty accident, otherwise it's in perfect condition, 4 years in and have no reason to even think about replacing it

You can keep the child rear-facing for a very long time (2,3 or even 4 years old) and they just need to cross their legs or place them however they find comfortable.
Flipping them early might make them happier, but the odds are exponentially higher that your child will have more serious injuries FF vs RF.

I believe it was 279.99 recently from bed bath and beyond, with additional $100 store credit with purchase over $300. 299 seems like a fairly normal price.

I also agree rear facing is much safer, however I turned my kids forward facing as soon as I could... They seem to really dislike back facing and their crying/screaming can distract me from driving.

Sort of related to your question but most car seats have an expiry date to them...or at least when I was handling car seat years ago they usually expired around 5 years from date of manufactured.

Our son is 35lb and 3 years old and will be rear facing for quite a while yet. It's considerably safer, and if you have the vehicle room to extend the leg extension panel with this seat there is a lot of leg room for the kid.

The Graco Extend2Fit can be used rear-facing until 50lb or ~49"/124cm (depending on torso length), and forward facing until 65lb, but keep in mind that the UAS cannot be used past 45lb.

My kid will likely reach the height limit before the weight limit.

@Daijoubu consider flipping your kid back around again and keeping them that way until the rear facing limit if the seat is reached.

It looks like Graco Extend2Fit Convertible Car Seat is only $199.97 in walmart now. This one is for 65lb max only. No booster.
