[Costco] Haier 30 in. Stainless Steel Smart Slide-In Gas Range with Wi-Fi $999.97 (retails for $1699)

No idea on the brand Haier or quality. Not sure if this is somewhat of a price error as the electric version is selling for $1499.99 at Costco.

Selling for $1695/$1699 at HD/Best Buy.

Probably shares a lot of the same components as other brand name fridges. Hopefully it doesn’t share many Samsung parts though.

How do you control the oven? I don't see a front panel for the oven controls (e.g. bake/broil).

How much would it cost to get someone to do gas line work? It gotta be very simple for me, gas line comes to the same wall as my existing stove, just a few feet a way from the gas line/meter that feeds furnace and AC

Would have bought this except I purchased 2 Bosch appliances recently. This would be out of place.

As someone who's never owned or used a gas stove before, what are some good things to keep in mind switching from electrical? Pros and cons?

I am using a gas range now and looking for a replacement. On the description says:

Gas Hookup Not Included: Electrical connections must be made and fuel systems installed by qualified and licensed personnel. Improper installations present hazards, which can result in personal injury or property damage. Please contact a licensed residential electrician and your local natural gas or propane supplier for these services.

So costco will only deliver the gas range in my house and I need to ask someone to unhood my existing gas range and connect the new one? How much is about is this?

It is a rebranded GE. So parts are not a problem if repair is needed. From the manual you can use the know to turn on the oven and set temperature. To use convection mode you need the app.
