I went keto in 2016 and back then ppl still thought keto would "kill" you because you had to eat carbs LOL

When i was in the USA, i tried the highkey cookies and these cando keto bars ( see USA Costco link below). Both were excellent. Cant wait for the bars to show up at Costco in canada

I've lost about 45 pounds since Jan 1st by basically starving myself. I started Keto a couple of days ago to lose the last 5 pounds before I start working out with weights and hopefully build back some of the muscle I've lost. I already feel stronger just from the increased nourishment...lol..

In the past, when I've done Keto I've just completely stayed away from anything that could be considered a dessert as I thought it would just be a slippery slope. I have a somewhat extreme all or nothing personality. I've never understood the compatibility of keeping under 20 net carbs a day and eating a cookie. I'm assuming that it's made with some chemical sweetener and your allotment is for one and a quarter cookie a day that maxes out your carb allotment. If so, what's the point? I'll just keep my sweet tooth dull and use my allotment on broccoli to go with the high fat diet I'm consuming.

I'm just like you, it's all or nothing. One cookie is impossible.

I've had a nurse/diabetes specialist tell me that I need to eat carbs for my brain to function (after I just finished telling her I'd been off carbs for years).

Im gonna try these. I like to have a little dessert/sweet when I am on keto/poon.

I need to get back on the train. 2018 i lost like 135 pounds in 11 months. But 2 years since the pandemic started, i have gained back 100 of those

Time to make a meal plan, include the snacks and stuff and get back to it!!

BTW, CarbRite are really good keto protein bars. All the bars are around 20ish protein with max 2 carbs per bar. And they actually taste pretty good overall. I get them from low carb grocery for about 2.25 each

I don't understand the keto hype. Everyone I know who lost weight on it gained the weight back and then some. Except now they're afraid of carbs and have eating disorders.

ROFL!!! Did they ask you how you were still alive??

Been doing keto 5yrs + and using carb manager app to track nutrients. I show data to nutritionists and they cannot wrap their heads around it… so funny to see!
