I don't think this is a deal, but I'm impressed on the size of this TV. Good for whoever can afford to buy one

Who here, is going to spend $5000 on a hisense TV?

How big the room needs to be so that it can fit the 120 inch TV?

Lol it's not even a TV though. It's a different technology altogether. Also the actual product matters more than just seeing a brand and labeling it as good or bad. (I'm not saying it's worth it or not, as I'm not an expert either).

How does this laser TV works? According to the specs, it has two pieces:
Laser TV Dimensions (L × W × H/D): 688.3 cm × 20.5 cm × 41.7 cm (27.1 in. × 8.1 in. × 16.4in.)
Screen Dimensions (L × W × H/D): 269.7 cm × 153.4 cm × 3.5 cm (106.1 in. × 60.3 in. × 1.4 in.)

This is more analogous to a specialized projector system, not a TV. In addition to delivery, the Costco deal appears to also include the installation.

Guys it's not a tv
It's a PROJECTOR. - ultra short throw projector
You place it under the screen. It has to be around 10" from the wall usually, and the laser projects up onto the screen.

I would probably buy a Samsung instead and use the money saved on a screen.

Looks like it will need a surface to place the TV box so it can project the image onto the screen above. So if you are planning to hang it on a wall, you'll need a dedicated shelf of some sort to hold this box in just the right place, keep the dust off the lens (which can be a pain since its shooting up unlike across like a projector) lol. $5K and you have to keep it dust free.

I'm not in for one because it's way outside my price range, but I'd think anyone who wants a sound system to go along with this is SOL. Imagine having a subwoofer rattle the screen? Interesting technology, but it's probably not fully thought out yet with the configuration required as well as sound rattling.

Sound rattling?
Do you think people with projectors don't have surround sound systems.

I've got a 133in scope screen and dual SVS PB1000s. The screen doesn't rattle :)

Moreso the projector sitting on the table. Just an assumption, but I'd think with an SVS the rattle may be too much?

To be fair, people with HT's most likely aren't running USTs. I think you do make a valid point to be honest.

Thanks for sharing OP. Glad that Costco finally carries some laser projectors. Sadly no store demos projectors like this in my area, really need to see it in real life to decide.
