[Costco] Hisense 65 inch 4K HDR Roku Smart TV 65R6209 $599.99

The Hisense 65" 4K HDR ROKU SMART TV is back on sale for $599.99

I have been waiting for this to go on sale since I missed the sale back in December 2019. Regular price is $799.99 and it has been on sale before for $699.99

I'm not sure if this is available in-store as I have checked both Markham and Richmond Hill locations, and could not find them in stores at all.

I have the previous generation of this TV (6109?) and I gotta say, bang for buck, you can't get a better deal.

I have the TV for 2 years now and can't be happier. Its picture quality, sound quality right out of the TV speakers, and the Smart apps are surprisingly good for an entry level TV. HDR is not the greatest but not the worst either. Black level could be darker, but really, among all entry level TV's at this price (or within $500) I doubt you can find a better TV.

If my plasma would just die already, I would buy this in a heartbeat. Bought the 40" of this version for the bedroom to replace a 15 yrs old 32" Toshiba dumb TV and that TV is amazing for what I paid for it. It's insane how much TV prices have dropped in the last 2 yrs. Imagine being able to get a 65" TV for $600 say 5 yrs ago????

Costco has the relatively new Hisense 65" 65R6209 smart 4K Roku TV online only for $599 delivered.
Down $100 and now closer to the TCL 65S423CA.
With the usual Costco benefits. 90 day return, 2 year warranty for members, $60 to add 3 more years of warranty. Free return shipping.
Not going to be an option for a quick Superbowl TV, by Sunday, since it is not available in store, but if you need shipping, can wait and want a big budget TV this might be an option.
I would give my life to protect your right to say something really funking stupid.

Anyone know which series this is, I wanted to look up some reviews. Is this is H8C Series or a different one?

Thanks

I paid $4800 for a 58" Panasonic Plasma back in 2007.
It took a long time for screens over 50" to drop in price.

Does anyone know what the differences are between the old R6109 and the new R6209?

Edit: To answer my own question, I compared the specs: R6209 can decode Dolby Vision but it does not support Alexa, has a lower static contrast ratio, weaker speakers, and weighs more.

Which should I go for? The TCL 4 series 65 or the Hisense in this thread?
