[Costco] Hisense 70-in. 4K HDR Roku Smart TV 70R6209 $647 Online Shipped

Costco has just dropped the price of the 70R6209 70" Roku smart TV to $647 online shipped. This is the older model, just before the R61G, but I don't think that there are any significant differences and these models seemed to have a bit higher quality control and satisfaction judging by the comments that I have seen. This is more of a budget TV, no local dimming or high peak brightness, but a decent one, and quite a reasonable choice for those looking for a larger screen on a budget. Probably best in moderate to low light.
Ending 12/31 and there seem to be lots, almost 500 units available. Usual Costco member benefits. 90 day return, shipping included, 2 Year warranty, add 3 more years for $60.

12/29 OOS now. Possibly could be restocked, but probably not. Price still valid until 1/7 if restocked.

I would give my life to protect your right to say something really funking stupid.

Respect your OP's. They don't get paid to do this, and don't have to come here to post their deals for you. They can all just hoard their deals in silence, if you prefer?

I’m not following TV deals too closely, but this seems like a ridiculous price!

I thought so too. It was $797 for quite a while, and this is $22 below Wal Mart's BD flyer price of $669, plus you get the Costco benefits and delivery.
I have a couple of the earlier Hisense R6 TV's and I am really happy with them. No way you are getting really good HDR performance from anything in this range, but otherwise great for regular users, and non videophiles.

Looks like they quietly dropped the price during the day. It was 797 in the morning. Was debating $100 for 5” now definitely not worth to buy the 75 for 899

5" for $250 is a much different proposition, for sure.

Probably not available in store at all, but you can usually check by phone with the specific store or through CS.

Do you have some sort of dwarf door? I mean, if you can fit a furnace or hot water tank into your basement a TV should fit fine. Turn it sideways?

There is definitely a setting tab for Apple Air Play and Homekit on my older models. Never actually used it though.
