Hisense 70 inch TV for 647.99
Cheapest I have seen for this TV.
Great deal with Costco Return Policy.

298 TV's available at the time of posting.

I got one in October for 799 as bed room TV and just got price adjustment done.

Yes on papers but if you call them and ask within 90 days, they honor it. I wouldn't do it for small items but for 150 it's worth it.

OP has a 70" TV in their bedroom. I'm still using a 27" CRT from 1996(ish).

This or TCL 5 series 65” for $720? Not sure I need 70” but it’s tempting.

There are too many bedroom jokes so I won't go there... but consider this.

Tired eyes resolve pictures much better on a larger screen than a smaller screen. It's easier to watch TV on a bigger screen up to a certain point.

Is the 65’ TCL 5 series even cheaper in store?

Sure, but how big must a bedroom be for 70" to be considered optimal viewing size? Pretty safe to say overkill me thinks. I'm not knocking it, I just find the contrast funny between their setup and my own.

At this price, it's a why-not scenario, and it's knocking on the door of some midtier 55" TVs in terms of price.

I get your point, but 70" isn't in the 'too big it's silly' category.

Just a great overall deal for the price.

Nice work, OP.

I would rather pay $699 for a 75 inch without HDR if I had a gun to my head forcing me to buy a 70 or 75 inch tv!. The HDR on this will just make the picture quality worse. Still a decent purchase, but people need to keep their expectations in check. there is a reason why it's this price

I'd say the TCL is still the better deal unless you really care about the extra 5" and want to save $72. Personally, I spotted the 5" for the gap in image quality because I mostly use mine for watching movies and video games, both of which the TCL scored above 8 in on Rtings (I've never seen a TV at this price point score above 8 on both... even some of the TV's well over 1K don't do that). The only real drawback as far as I can tell for the TCL is peak brightness for HDR content, but the room mine is going in isn't really bright anyways so I can spot that. https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/tcl/5 ... -2020-qled.

having crappy brightness and HDR is what makes the tv's cheap in the first place though...
