Bought the 70R6209 in December 2020 for $560.

Fantastic bang, 4K looks crispy. Roku works well, used it a handful of times given the Shield is my primary box.

No complaints, phenomenal value.

I value the RFD opinion over Google, to whoever said that. Besides, my google search would just be "Hisense RedFlagDeals" to see what comes up 🤣

Thanks for the feedback everyone that responded ;)

Have our 55" for 3 years already, and have been impressed by far. TV gets a lot of use with a toddler being around.

Hoping it will die within warranty so I can get a 65" or 75". Smiling Face With Open Mouth And Smiling Eyes

It's not a bad brand at all. Think of it buying a Honda/Toyota instead of a BMW/Benz. They will do the same thing, just not as good quality or better experience.

For a 75, you'll likely have to pay 1500+ for Sony, Samsung, LG so this is good value.

Always get the costco warranty, regardless of brand. It's worth it.

Nah Hisense isn't like a Toyota/Honda, it's more a like a Kia/Hyundai tbh.

I'm not the most up to date either but having recently needed new TVs from what I can gather Hisense is the equivalent to Vizio from several years ago. Best bang for buck for a low budget TV.

Yeah, I won't be buying a budget TV any time soon so, good to know. Thanks

I would say Vizio was higher quality, made in US. Hisense is Chinese. I've had the 65" for 4 years now, been very happy with it. Not super great quality but my eyes aren't really that great so works for me :)

I like the fact that this is Android TV, not Roku.

I have an 65" Hisense paid $499 for it a few yrs ago from Costco. Built in Roku.
Zero problems.

I love it, especially for the price. I'd buy this but I'm waiting for an 85" if they even make them...

BMW/Benz always break down/aren’t reliable and most people buy them as sloppy seconds/used to pretend they have money... but a Honda/Toyota you can buy brand new and have great reliability... so yea... Hisense is good! :)

yeah maybe the car comparison analogy didn't work, but my point is, it's a TV that is decent enough to use, just not as good quality as the more expensive brands

Vizio manufactures its products in Mexico, China, and Vietnam under agreements with ODM assemblers in those countries.

Got a 58" Hisense R6 in my office for $400 tax in and a 75" TCL 5 series from 2020 for $1200 tax in as my main TV. Very satisfied with the "bang for your buck" approach on my recent move. I got burned with a Samsung 8 series that died on me after 2 years after paying $2k for it and was bitter to pay for high tech for my next purchase decision so I went the budget route and couldn't be happier.

How could TV's assembled in the US are of better quality than those from China? The majority of LCD panels are made in China.
