Can anyone please clarify to me that is Hisense 55R6107 55-in. 4K Roku Smart LED TV better than TCL 55S425 [55 inch, 4k, UHD Roku Smart LED TV]. I couldnt decide which one to buy. I would highly appreciate any relevant reply.
Thanks.

I don't know them well enough to give you a simple buy this answer. I don't think there is really a simple answer though.
They are very similar TV's and usually priced similarly, hence the comparisson here.
I would read all the reviews and comments for both.
Your choice may come down to your specific uses, balanced against any price difference. Game lag, HDR, reliability, viewing angle, black level could all be different though and one factor may be more important to you than another user.
I would give my life to protect your right to say something really **cking stupid.

Is this a TCL thread or Hisense? I am getting confused with all the ppl posting about TCL. Is Hisense not worth it ?
The two are main rivals and 3rd/4th biggest manufacturers in the world (behind Samsung and LG). On top of that both are from china so you cant help but compare the two.

As far as Hisense being worth it or not, it depends. This model is a bit older and if the price is the same, TCL is better. Of course TCL is more expensive and Hisense actually release a wider ranger of TVs with this being the entry level so this TV isnt actually competing with any TCL models since its priced lower (and right now is lower) than TCL 4 series (TCL entry level). Personally i bought the 65" version 2 years ago on boxing day and it still works great (yes the TV is actually a 2017 model). Performance wise, its not on par with most 2018 or 2019 TV but again its priced lower than any competing TV unless you include RCA or Haier (which are budget level TVs/rebrand TVs).

Thank you for the explanation. I am looking for something the level of the P series Vizio. Guess this is not even close.

We're just looking for something for the covered patio and since I've been able to confirm this has MLB TV, DAZN and Netflix on it it has fit the bill. We ordered the 50".

I just got back from the Marche Central location (Montreal), and they had the 65, but no 55. I asked the customer service desk if they can find the 55 at another location, and he said there were none in the entire system.
I bought one in laval 2 weeks ago but may not be available anymore.

I saw both in-store on display (Richmond Hill/Markham locations). The TCL 55S423 was noticeably nicer panel than the Hisense 55R6107 in every regard; sharpness, contrast and overall appearance. For $40 more, its a no brainer.

I went to buy the Hisense 55" and walked out with a TCL 55". The only difference between the 55S423 and 55S425 is the stand color.

Yes you can do screen mirroring, but you are required to have a roku account. I'm not sure if you can still make one without billing info but i assume you still can, if not that might be an issue. After that its really just downloading the app and screen mirroring works pretty much the same as google home/android tvs.

Buy your TVs only from Costco... No where else. Friend had a 65 inch LG OLED from last year. Paid almost $3800. Last month it had some burn in for the OLED panel. Costco send a tech and he said it needs to be replaced. Returned it with no issues and just bought a 65inch Samsung QLED from Costco. If it was from any other store, I'm sure he would've been stuck with that TV until it will be eventually repaired, after so many phone calls and arguments. Save yourselves the headache, buy only from Costco and get their warranty on TVs.

I am debating to get either of TCL (55S423) or Hisense (55R6170). At Kingston store, it shows $469.99 for both.
