[Costco] YMMV! Canon EOS M200 with 32GB SD + Canon Bag - $300

It looks like Costco (in store) is clearing the Canon M200 with the 15-45 Lens, 32GB SD card, plus a Canon travel bag.
While this may be YMMV, if you can find this at your local store, it's an extremely hot deal ...

24MP APS-C sensor with Dual Pixel autofocus
Digic 8 image processor
Face and eye detect autofocus
4K/24p video capture (1.7x crop)
3" tilting touchscreen
6.1fps burst shooting (~4fps with AF)
CIPA rated to 315 shots per charge, USB charging
Wi-FI and Bluetooth
MSRP of $599 USD with 15-45mm F3.5-6.3 kit lens

Why negative votes? Probably the cheapest way to go clean HDMI output

The EOS M lineup has its own EF-M mount, but a cheap electronic adapter allows you to adapt EF lenses. Obviously the weight is going to be mostly towards the lens since these bodies are really light.

You can also shell out some more for a focal reducer / speedbooster to reduce the crop factor and gain a stop of light when adapting EF lenses.

Clearly people don't know this camera and confuse it with other P&S garbage :)

M200 is one of the supported cameras for the EOS Webcam Utility so buying this means you don't need a capture card to use on a PC. Not sure if it has clean HDMI anyway, my M100 doesn't and it needed a script.

Last spotted in the GTA (Burlington) for $499.97 on Oct.07 by @13inches so this is a great price reduction of you can still find it.

Gonna order online and get it price adjusted at the store, but not sure what the price at the store in Ontario is. $200 off retail is not really a deal.

From my experience, anything which has hot in the title will inevitablely get downvoted into oblivion, regardless if it's a good deal; Heck, even free money will get downvotes by some peopleSlightly Smiling Face

You can’t get a price adjustment on a item if they don’t have stock. Don’t waste your time with this method, call up your local store with the item number and ask them for stock and price and if they don’t have it who does and what price. Rinse and repeat till you find a store close to you and then ask them to do a physical floor check or else you might be SOL when you get there.

Upvoting because this is a great value for people that want a step up from smartphone photos for travel, family, and other casual photography. Seems like not long ago you couldn't get a interchangeable lens camera under $500. Couple this with a nice prime lens and you'll have a pretty versatile kit.

I just looked up a bunch of reviews and a common complaint was about it overheating and shutting off during 1080 video recording. Something to look out for.
