[Costco] *Hot* HP 17” I7 10th gen laptop

Great deal on this well spec’d full size laptop. It’s about $200 less than it was last week.

Is it really hot though if nobody wants to buy it?

Great specs at a reasonable price however, I wonder how much it's going for in the store ?

Typically online deals are beaten in-store.

17.3" is welcome and there needs to be more computers of this size for seniors. The DVD writer is welcome but 6.2lb is ho-hum. At this weight I would want proper graphics (2060 at least), or I would shave more than a pound to get an MSI GF75. Neither, however, would be in this price class, There are different shades of 10th generation. I would not pay up for Comet Lake but I would for Ice Lake.

would've been better if they simply did not include pretty much useless MX250 and priced it lower.

Yes, my philosophy is to slam the best GPU into the lightest laptop of a given screen size (would have been 1650 max Q today), and failing that, no GPU at all.

It looks really nice. Is 17in still portable?

I'd hate to be that guy, but it's got a bilingual keyboard albeit it's ISO standard.

I have the envy 15 for $799 from Costco (currently $899) which I find was a much better deal.
