[Costco] HOT Keter Artisan 9 ft. × 7 ft. Shed - $1099

Back in Stock!

Restocked!!

Have been eyeing this for a while to go sale. Went out of stock in an hour yesterday. Called Costco yesterday and they said they will be adding another 600 of these in stock at midnight and advised me to order them as soon as I can. Apparently these things go fast. Grab em while you can before the landscaping contractors get them.

Retails for $1499 at Lowe’s/Rona.

The Artisan resin shed has a weathered wood look and feel in a warm grey shade. It is built with double wall panels, a robust roof and steel reinforcements. The tongue and groove structure, which includes a heavy-duty floor and a door that can accommodate a lock (not included), is easy to assemble and is maintenance free. Walls and doors can be painted to customize your look. The Artisan is an innovation in resin sheds and has a contemporary design with clean lines and crystal clear windows for natural lighting.

Features:
Colour: 2-tone grey
Modern wood look and feel finish
All weather design (snow, wind, UV rays and rain)
Duotech™ envelope on walls and doors
Robust roof with steel bar reinforcements
Crystal clear windows on 3 sides
Door handle accommodates lock (not-included) for added security
Sloped threshold will help store and take out larger equipment easily
Heavy-duty floor
Maintenance-free (also paintable)
Shelving sold separately
Assembly required

At over 400 lbs how many packages does it come in?

I don't own a forklift.

Can anyone comment on how easy this actually is to assemble?

I have the same shed in 7x7. It came in two very large boxes on a wood pallet. I had mine delivered. It won't fit in an suv and it must be pretty difficult to get in a pick up truck.

Not hard, but its a 2 person 5 hour job. Some of the steps you really have to be with someone you can't do it alone.

Great price but too damn big for the area I would have to put it.
If anyone sees a deal on a 6’ X 6’ hit me up!

Does anyone know how this compares to the Lifetime 10x8 Shed that Costco sells for $1249. It was on sale back in April for $999 and I missed out.

I would like to buy a shed very soon and I'm trying to figure out what I should get.

I purchased the 7x7 from Lowes on June 6 and phoned them in after having received a few broken parts (which is apparently common) with Keter. I phoned them and after being told it should take 2 weeks for the parts to arrive, i've called multiple times and each time with an additional 2 week update. I eventually had enough and just phoned Lowes and they told me they would open up another box and I can just swap the parts.

That said, I plan to build it this weekend so I'll keep you posted!

Built mine 2 years ago with 2x6 PT wood, dexk blocks and plywood. Still looks great.

Best = concrete slab
Economical (prob DIY) = concrete slabs / pavers or deck blocks and plywood platform.

Unfortunately best != economical.

Deck blocks are great ... until ground shifts under one and then it crumbles.... the current house we moved into .. all the deck blocks are broken.. I plan to get a slab poured next spring.

Depends on soil. This setup allows the shed to be moved if needed. This is not the case with a concrete slab.
