[Costco] HOT Luxway LED Potlights - $15.22 - ontario only

I bought these in April with the $8 Save-On-Energy (SOE) coupon for an effective price of $17.91 plus tax each.

I thought it was a great deal then but now they are only an effective price of $15.22 plus tax each.

Overall, these potlights are good but do have some dimming issues with certain dinners. Can't go wrong with Costco's warranty though. I attached a picture of the bulb so that you can check compatibility with your dimmer.

10 max per purchase as per SOE. Don't post often so take it easy on meFace Savouring Delicious Food

I installed these all over my house about a year ago and have no complaints. The colour of the light is nice and they're easy to install. In my hallway I have them hooked up to the dimmer that Costco sells and there is a little bit of a buzzing sound but they dim fine.

This is indeed a good price for these. The build quality on both the housing and bulbs are decent. My only complaint is, these are a newer model, and the clamping screws aren't as good as previous versions. If you aren't careful, the screw will cross thread in the clamp, and if you force it, the thread on the clamp will strip.
Also, all the heads are f*cking Philips, which drives me crazy. Bloody Americans.

Please update your title to indicate this deal is Ontario only. It's also a good idea to include the price in the title.

Bought three for my bathroom, bulbs didn't last 10 months. They failed one after another. They are not installed in a wet area, but over the sink

Thats why i didnt buy any, Was going too, but a nice gentalman told me these bulbs keep burning out fast, that he just sends the reciept to the company, and they replace the bulbs free.

Im not going to deal with that.

What were his thoughts on why?

He gets all of his pot lights from electrical suppliers such as Gerrie electric and they stop stocking gu10 pot lights because they are always sent back with problems. The gu10 connector is not as reliable as the standard screw in

Found those by chance my St Albert Costco for 2.99/pair grabbed 10 as I had ordered 10 from amazon for $190 but the supplier screwed up and only shipped one so Amazon refunded the total. Find of the year for me.

Anyone know if the flat sunbeam under counter LEDs are on this time (should have bought in spring but wasn't sure about brightness)

Were these at Costco too? Are they better than the ones posted by the OP?

I was told by a trusted electrician whose family owns an electrical supply store that you get what you pay for and these are not the best quality you can buy around that price range... I was going to buy, but now hesitant.
