Costco near Yorkdale on Wilson had a TON of boxes when I went to the location at around 3pm. Not a lot of attention being drawn to it also. Directly to the left when you walk in against the fence wall.

I hear the Charizard will probably be worth close to what the box is selling right now. (The non halo is worth $10 right now. This one is halo so they’re guessing $30-40.) I don’t know too much about Pokemon TCG. Is that true?
From a resell value perspective, are these boxes pretty much good given the Charizard and 10 packs (that should yield some card worth at least something)?

It really depends on the grade and the demand.
Probably not as much since everyone has it from Costco.
You might be able to pull another Charizard or shiny Charizard from the burning shadow packs.

I was looking up Burning Shadow and it looks like pulling a secret or ultra rare is like 2% chance per pack. And half of the secret or ultra rare aren’t worth more than $5. The rare, uncommon and common are pretty much worthless.
If that promo Charizard isn’t worth that much, $35 for the box is pretty much a guaranteed loss from a resell/investment perspective

I don't buy the cards to sell. I just buy the cards for the kids and to test my luck.
It's a bad investment if you don't know anything about TCG. like where to grade and sell.
Upvoted because even a small discount on Pokémon TCG is hot given the current situation. I think battle styles and chilling reign are the only things I see in stock when I go to the store. Pretty much everything else is always sold out.
