[Costco] [Black Friday] HP Chromebook, AMD Athlon Silver 3050C for $299.99 ($519.99 - $220)

The configuration looks promising for the price. Unable to find more reviews about it, however for the price and Costco warranty, it is the best deal for a Chromebook.

I think this is a great deal.

I wish I didn't already have a sick Chromebook.

I am in the market as well but looking at higher configuration so that i dont have to buy another one for 5 more years.
from amazon for extra $30 HP one is coming with 8GB/128GB.
I am still in dilema

8GB/128GB with Intel Pentium Silver processor with some good reviews, Amazon one is looking good as well. Costco one sounds good with the return and extended 2-year warranty compared to Amazon.

Costco one has a better screen (Amazon one is not FHD). For a Chromebook, I'd say that's more important than the difference between 4GB and 8GB RAM.

Spec wise this is amazing, extended returns, Costco has better warranty

Microsoft doesn't want you to run its Android Office apps on Chromebooks because...Microsoft. You should still be able to sideload it, though. Another alternative is to install the Aurora store app and spoof a Pixel or some other device and install it that way.

Seriously, is Chrome OS any good for day to day? Seems like a gimped OS. Any insight? Seems suitable for browsing but not much more than that (which i realize is what the majority of people do anyway).
