Only useful unless you desk is so cramped that you don't have space for a dedicated QI charger.

I can't think of a use-case. It'd be nice if it can charge several devices at the same time. A dedicated charging cradle doesn't take a lot of space.

This thing is huge, 13.78 in. × 10.63 in. My desktop has space for a charging cradle but not this one.

Charging a phone to 100% every time is not good for its life span. Look it up if in doubt. Some devices like the Samsung S10 and later can automatically turn off charging (wired/wireless) at 85%.

I bought it because I was considering getting a key pad due to my rough desk. It's working OK. because I bought the wireless mouse too

Kind of my question too, are there any mice that have induction charge capability these days?

Anyway I don't recommend wireless charging for phones due to the heat and sealed-in batteries... But ok for like at work where you're probably always picking up/putting down your phone anyway, it's an easy way to keep it charged throughout the day. This doesn't say how many watt the induction charging is either, which is odd.

Also kind of expensive for this given it's a clearance price.

That's actually pretty small by mouse pad standards

For those into wireless charging, keep in mind the efficiency of wireless charging is abysmal. Those who took electrical engineering can elaborate.

I'll wait until Huawei comes up with a mousepad that can double as an electric induction cooking stove.
