[Costco] [Boxing Day] Inspire Fitness FTX trainer w/bench $1599.99 (Reg $1999.99)

I've seen this on here before but I think this is the lowest price I've seen in a while (which is probably what the regular price would have been a few years ago!) I haven't pulled the trigger on getting one but it's SOOOO tempting.

Hmm.. that's a gym membership for over 3 years atleast. Hard pass coz it's useless and rather go to gym myself. These don't last long in my opinion. Got 1 like 2 years ago .. something similar and totally useless

On the contrary, got one beginning of covid and it's been going strong. This plus a bike works for me. Your "something similar" wasn't this exactly.

I have had this machine for almost 2 years and use it 4x a week and not a single thing has gone wrong with it. This machine is a great buy at this price.

Not saying something is wrong .. I'm just saying if u are rich .. buy this. If u aren't .. u are better at the gym. Don't waste money like this

All I'm saying is that rfd ppl are not rich for such things... Unless u are rich then buy them. U are better of at a gym for the same price and get much more and gain much more muscle

Stop making generalizations on rfd people. Rfders are interested in DEALS, we can spend "large" amounts so long as we save and get good deals.

Also, if you actually looked at this type of equipment then you would see it's one of the best ones available at such a low price. Usually other ones are over $2000.

I bought this one a year ago and it's the best equipment I purchased for my home gym. So smooth and superb quality. Every review I watched and read prior to making the purchase was always positive. Definitely recommend it anyone is interested in functional trainers.

Not everything is black and white. Not enough to compare just to the cost of a gym membership. There is convenience and time. I'd rather not have to drive to the gym, go out in the winter cold, spend gas, etc when I can just get a workout done at home in the time it takes me to drive to the gym and back. Convenience is definitely worth something.

I purchased one this morning after seeing it on sale yesterday morning. Wish it was at $1500 like the Black Friday deal though :/

Hope it's good as all the reviews say! People on YouTube gave it a very high rating, especially at this price rate, where it isn't too pricey compared to other models.

This would save on a gym membership if I have the space for it. Owell.

Anyways, what's the 1 year subscription for?
Thanks.

Nowhere
.. This is an excellent piece of equipment at an excellent price. There are multiple threads on this site of satisfied buyers. The overwhelming majority of reviews on Costco are 5 stars. Not everyone can or wants to go to the gym. As for this being something for rich people, you don't have to be rich to want to invest in your health. I'm actually poor (on a small disability pension) and I bought one last March. I even rejoined Costco just to purchase it and get another $100 off. For those worried about space, it takes up a surprisingly small amount of space. You can fit it in a corner though you will need space in front of it to use it.

100% worth every penny. Don't even debate on this. But you are better off getting ridding of supplied cable handles (so cheap they are) & get good quality like Rogue or Rep fitness.

Why didn't they list the price the same as Black Friday? I'll hold off until a better price.
For those that have this, is the weight stack 165lb per side?

165lbs per stack, but a 1:2 ratio like most functional trainers. So each stack is equal to 82.5lbs.

On sale again for $1600.

-Read store exceptions before combining discounts with cash back sites
-Stocktrack.ca and homedepot.ca do not show clearance pricing for HD even if the item is on clearance.

you got something similar and not even same product and telling people its broken and useless...
thats like comparing a $500 prebuilt computer to a custom build $1500 computer.....

I bought this when it was first available on costco canada, use it minimum 4x a week and still works like new and would buy it again 100% at this price.
my gym membership is $40 bi weekly so thats $1040+tax a year, plus 40min travel time there and back, gas money, waiting on people at the gym to use equipment which prolongs my time wasted at the gym.
At 40min travel time a day for me, 4x a week, thats 133hrs or 5.5 days worth of time in a year that im driving back and fourth to my gym. Time I could be using to spend on a side hustle, better improving myself or just spending with friends and family.

"poor" people don't value quality and time, its like buy cheapwork boots that are uncomfortable and get ruined within months vs buy premium work boots that will outlast the cheap work boots purchased many times over. in the end, you just spent more money on cheap work boots vs one pair of premium boots, so whats cheaper and more efficient in the end?
things to consider when buying higher price items, how long will they last? how is the quality of the product? will you be happy with it? is the warranty better? how will the resale value be once you're done with it? Inspire Fitness will bring alot more of your money back vs some cheap unknown brand.

Not a fair comparison at all. A gym membership gets you so much more than a functional trainer and travelling 40 minutes to find one puts you in a huge minority.

Pretty sure Ive seen functional trainers for free at local community centres…
