399 is not a hot deal but the 6S is still a very good phone.

2015 6s

And it is still supported at least til 2020, that is fantastic by any smartphone standard. I remember my LG G, G2, G4 were obsolete in just one year.
The problem there is LG. They're notoriously bad with updates. I've had G3, G4, and am currently on a G6 and the updates are rare. I'm switching to a Samsung S10 next as the new G8 is just falling too far behind in the camera and useful features department.

Ummm. The 6s has a geekbench multicore rating of just over 3000 while the latest and greatest is more than 11,000. Unless my math is off?
oh WOW. 11000???? and what does this translate to in real life? will i be able to send texts or watch youtube WAY FASTER THAN EVER BEFORE? who cares.

this is kind of deviating from the thread topic but it requires you to have dongles available when you need them and also doesnt let you charge the phone at the same time.

So apple removed a part so they can charge you $10 extra for the part that should've been there in the first place lmao

For under $300, problem solved.

Crap price, iPhones are known for slowing down after 3-4 years.
My 6+ was not usable (slow responding to app open/close/browsing etc.) a year ago, even after performing device wipe and battery replacement.
I assume 6s is in same boat now.
No.

It is not all LG issue, the issue is fragmentation, carrier and brand customization and carriers not trickle down the updates. It is not just LG, Samsung and other brand no better. I stopped buying Android other than Google Pixel and Essential Phone.

The OP most likely was wanting to buy outright. There would be no contract and they'll continue using whatever plan they currently have.
Having said that, I would recommend people buying, to look for the TMS Koodo deal similar to the one from last week and last month.
Basically a FREE Iphone 6s for the cost of 3 months of service, you can then cancel your plan and rinse / repeat for another phone later.
That "deal" would only cost you $38+taxes/month for 3 months on a tab small vs $399+taxes in total.
No need to pay for 3 months of service. Can cancel immediately.

FWIW, I'm still using the 6s plus I bought on day one.
I feel no need to upgrade at this time, because it still does everything I need it to do.

That said, I wouldn't buy right now at this price.

Yikes guys, so much hate here. Just gotta point out, you guys are happy whenever an iPad goes on sale even when it's like 3 or 4 years old as well (and only goes down like $100) where is the logic in this? 399 for a 6s is not too bad as it's brand new and full warranty. (also its Costco, u have that 90 day peace of mind return policy) not sure if you can add their warranty on it though, nothing beats Costco warranty.

This is frigid and sad, people are hesitant to buy an iphone 8 for more than 600. If this was $175 it would be an okay deal
😎Thanks RFD😎
