[Costco] iTunes gift cards - $21.49 for $25 | $84.99 for $100 | $167.99 for $200 (Members only)

Members only. Limit 2 per member. Expires July 19, 2020

https://www.costco.ca/itunes-gift-cards.html

$21.49 for $25 (~14% off)
$84.99 for $100 (~15% off)
$167.99 for $200 (~16% off)

Trend has been warehouse price is the same now for the $100 bundle ($84.99) with some occasional exceptions. Note that Costco changed their pricing within the last year (i.e. $94.99 is the new regular price, so we may not see sales at $79.99 again).

Should be stackable with the 4.5% to 5.0% Costco Mastercard offer (Two days only, July 13th to 14th).

The 4.5% to 5.0% offer is being discussed here (no note of exclusion for gift cards that anyone is aware of).

Edit: 4.5% to 5.0% cash back offer with Capital One Costco MC expired.

Presents wrote: The Costco West thread confirmed it is $84.99 at one store. We have seen some exceptions in the past few sales, but generally it has been $84.99 in warehouse as well.

Technically better to buy online during the 4.0% to 4.5% bonus cashback with Costco MC but that is ending Jul 14th (page is still live so perhaps it ends at 11:59pm PST).

Would it be a better value to wait for SDM to put these on for 7,500 points per $50 spent? If you wait until bonus redemption days you end up getting more back than 15%

That's useful info, thx. I am assuming this would likely work for in-apps purchases (games, tinder or dating apps, ect)? I never use iTunes and am not familiar

I prefer to save my money up front. Last time I let my Costco membership lapse and went for the SDM deal. Took almost a month to get the points. Plus I haven't really learned how to maximize the PCO points.

iTunes cards are also good for in-app purchases so you could save money on that too. Personally I use the morpholio trace app on my iPad for sketching and this deal would basically give me a year of the Pro subscription for free.

Shame about netflix, for the longest time Netflix through Apple was on the old prices, 7/8/9, and 20% off from gift Cards.

Not anymore. Thanks, Netflix.

Too bad Apple won't accept this for hardware purchase. You're looking at an automatic discount on Airpods pro or even an iPhone (if you can string enough cards together)

Perfect timing. Some nice man at the CRA called and said they have made it more convenient to pay my taxes this year by iTunes card.
Thanks OP

As unfortunate as it is, many people actually fall for that scam. :(

So for anyone finding themselves in the process of paying the Canada Revenue Agency with iTunes gift cards (or ANY gift cards), DO NOT PROCEED. It is a scam. The real CRA will never ask you to pay via gift cards.

You can get extra 5% if you buy these on Costco.ca with Costco Mastercard, from 13th July to 14th July
