It is not water tight. There are no seals on this unit and the lid is mounted on hydraulics that assists with opening and staying open.

It's packed into a small enough box. All the side panels are detached and require assembling. Think Ikea. Like op mentioned, most like will require your rear seats to fold down.

It’s not water tight but I’ve had it setup for two weeks now and it’s been dry inside despite seeing some rain.

I hope they fixed the recall issue with this box. I bought one early last year and the lid started to warp after a few months sitting outside. I eventually got a recall letter from Costco so I brought it back to get a full refund.

Not water tight but stops rain and melting snow? I keep cushions in our older box from Costco and they're dry.
