Are these sturday for basic tools? Not heavy duty. My brother just moved into a new home and I would love to get these for him. Anyone seen there in GTA or Barrie? Let me know..thanks.

WTH, these were still $59.99 today at Costco Queensway. OP, was the signage updated or did you have to scan it?

I saw some in Langley. Passed on it as the display didn't feel solid but it's just my gut reaction.

I passed on them as well. Been eye them for a while, but the quality is quite bad. The latch on the demo was already loose and wouldn't shut properly and because it was made from plastic, it'd be harder to fix.

Great concept, but there are certain parts I would've used metal instead of rubber/plastic.

Can anyone second this comment? Great price but must be the catch; they are not made with high quality materials?

it is soft material, and you can easily flex it. not for heavy duty for sure, you put in a chop saw the whole cabinet will flex downward.

I bought 4 of these last week in Boucherville. They had 6 left after I left.

For the price you are paying, this is a very decent unit. Keep in mind you are paying 40 $ .... They flex quite a bit, require no tool for assembly (they really just unfold and clip from the box.

I had mine setup as tall cabinet (2 stacked one of top another) and I attached the back of the units with screw to the wall and its sturdy enough now. I have some metal cabinets elsewhere in the garage I can use for heavy items but this is just fine for additional storage for lighter items.

Does it come with hardware to wallmount them?

Don't be fooled into thinking these look great in the laundry room like the pics on CT site. They're pretty ugly and belong in the garage.
Uh, yeah, I'd like to speak to a Mr. Tabooger, first name Ollie.

Does anyone know if these can be used outdoors as a shed? It's made out of plastic, I would assume the same material plastic sheds are made of. And it is made by Keter who does outdoor furniture.

Thanks in advance!

It does not. It comes with spacer that I did not use. You have to suuply the mounting hardware yourself. I fastened horizontal 1x3 for the full width at the height of the holes and screwed the cabinet straight in the 1x3. The units have pre-determined holes to accomodate 16 or 24 studs but I wanted a very specific position and did not want to bother with studs.

Otherwise, you could opt for drywall anchors if that's your thing.

@linhster Unless you have a roof covering them, I don'T think these would be good to protect your equipment or whatever you decide to put in against rain.
