Considering getting this to save some $$ over nespresso pods. What do you guys think?

Personally I don't like the taste of Nespresso's... and at more than 1$ per capsule with Nespresso and about 26 cents for the Kirkland Keurig cups when they have the 8$ off on the 110 counts box, Keurig is much more savvy...

I have this machine with the reusable filter. Where it really stands out is when you use good quality organic beans and grind them right before use in the reusable filter. Brings a whole different taste to coffee, and even a good quality coffee is going to cost you less than the pods.

Then keep a selection of the pods in different flavours when you're feeling like something different or you're in a hurry.

Which one is better: Breakfast Blend Fairtrade or Pacific Bold Fairtrade?

I've never had a Keurig break on me. I had a knock-off I bought from Costco Online break down, returned it no problem.

Apples to oranges (unless you mean the vertuoline), Keurig machines are regular brewers not espresso machines.
