Good deal for sure but I hate this 4.79L format. My Civic takes 5L (exactly) per change & this will make me buy an extra quart. I thought all newer oil are now in 5L jugs.

Looks like the regular price went up. During the summer, the regular price was $34.99 for these boxes. And if I remember correctly, early summer, (May/June timeframe, there was even a $5 costco coupon, bringing it down to $29.99.

I would have bought some back then, but I already have a few jugs of pennzoil and mobil 1 synthetic from older sales, and with the current WFH situation, I am down to the once a year oil change interval, considering I barely put any mileage on my cars.

+1 There’s an existing thread, might be expired, price is definitely up. It’s $6 more online as well, was $44.xx which is a delivery price, now $50.75

My local Costco is finally stocking 0W20 but I have some from that earlier Walmart thread.

Not sure if you've been paying attention, but prices for EVERYTHING have gone up.

This format is awesome, my subaru takes exactly 4.5L and I have .5L to use as it burns a bit of oil before the next full oil change

I was able to share with everyone the last time it went on sale. Hopefully a lot of people were able to stock up like I did.

Here's the link from May 2021.

Regular was $32.99 and on sale for $27.99

Weird because it was $34.99 when it originally came out and on sale in November 2020 for $29.99.

'12 Si. Takes 5L every single time (at least to get close to max mark on dipstick). I usually get mine at Crappy Tire's sale of 5L Pennzoil Plat. Works out to ~$20 or so with rebate. Wouldn't trying out this Kirkland stuff if it was in the 5L format.

No.

Consult your owner's manual for the required oil specifications and maintenance intervals.
Deal with it.

Walmart's Super Tech is 5L, same oil.

Not the same but same weight, everything else being equal 0w20 > 5w20.
