Costco Kitchen aid deal?

I was wondering if anyone could help me. The one that is linked is currently at 320$. I am wondering if it's a good buy right now because icould swear i saw it for way more or am i wrong?

https://www.costco.ca/kitchenaid-4.7-l- ... 49326.html

Also wondering if it's a good product or if I should just pay more to get a better quality product.

i Suggest you read / look thru the Kitchenaid website.
You’ll learn a lot.

The MSRP for an Artisan (5 Qt) is $ 599.99
There is also the Artisan Mini (3.5 Qt), and it’s MSRP is $ 479.99

A lot of people get these two models mixed up

In fact, a lot of people confuse all the Kitchenaid mixers.

There are basically many models ... within 2 main lines:
Tilt Head Mixers OR Bowl Lift Mixers

In the Tilt Head Mixers you have ...
Classic - Custom - Artisan Mini - Artisan - and Architect

The “A” being a lot better constructed than the “C” models

The Bowl Lift Line is more expensive ... have more capacity ... and are tougher made

They range from a MSRP of $ 629.99 thru to well over $ 1000.00
The identifiers here are based on the first number is the series (5s thru 8s)

Thing is though, you can often see the lower end models in the Bowl Lift Line close in price on promotion to the upper end models in the Tilt Head Line
That’s A BARGAIN
And how I snagged my own 600 Series Mixer

But first and foremost it is important to understand your wants & needs in this appliance
So reading up isn’t a bad idea

Costco is definitely a good place to buy.
And it’s often a case where Kitchenaid puts together a pkg for Costco that is a Costco exclusive
So you get more of something ... thrown in as an extra

Alright thx so much. So the artisan isn't just the entry level and that exactly what I am looking for i guess.

I will definitely buy a bowl lift when i get my own home. For now the artisan tilt head will work i guess

Thanks so much for the response.
