It should be , mine got burn a little bit. I prefer wood one , but wood one can get mold, nothing is perfect.

Do not use this with cast-iron pans over natural-gas stoves. Cast-Iron pans conduct heat very well and will get hot enough to cause the shaft to soften/melt if you rest the spatula on the side of the pan. Use metal or wood spatula with cast-iron cookware.

if well maintained, wood won't get mold. Have to dry toroughly before storing it in an enclosed area like a drawer or anything

Yes. That’s why I go with silicone ones. This nylon set tbh is not a good deal unless you’re buying for the name.

But silicon one are too soft. And wood ones are too thick. Can't really scoop up.
