What would you recommend for daily wear socks?

I like these Hanes mens 6pk Sport Cuts Crew Socks https://a.co/d/eGIf00B

Almost ordered the Costco ones without checking the reviews.

I also like those socks. I've ordered a couple packs twice now when they've been posted here. They seem to hold up pretty well.

I bought these socks a few years ago.

I had to throw some of them out after they developed holes.

But I still have most of them.

Have had these for a year. These are straight garbage. Crazy lint inside that continues to come out wear after wear, wash after wash. And the elastic sucks, not stretchy enough. DO NOT BUY.

Up until recently, all of my socks were Kodiaks bought probably 5+ years ago at Costco. I needed more and checked out in store and wasn't impressed. After reading the reviews, I figured I'd find something else

I recently switched to Copper Sole from Mark's. With stackable discounts, I got the price down to under $2 per pair... not as well padded as Kodiaks but comfortable and seem to be holding up well.

I've bought the roots socks, and still have some many years later. They last a real long time.

These are my favourite non-summer socks.
I've had them for a while.
I don't have any problem with lint like others have stated.
They are lasting very well.

I'm not sure what everybody complains about with these. I've bought many packs of other socks at this price over the years, and these were comparable with the best. They're relatively thick and it took me the better part of a year to see any holes in them.

Based on buying for my partner and their feedback, these were bad, thinned out quickly and he turned almost all of them into gun/oil rags because they had holes in the heel.

So we tried the Dewalt option on costco https://www.costco.ca/dewalt-men%e2%80% ... 63094.html

Initially very nice, still the thickest of all. However, as i do the laundry, i noticed a very stinky smell after every work day when these socks were in rotation. Maybe something with his sweat and these don't work well. The only other conclusion i came to is that the high poly count does not work well with his sweat.

So we moved on to the Caterpiller option on Costco https://www.costco.ca/caterpillar-men's ... 95456.html

They have only been available on the website for a month or so, but i bought it asap due to the smell of the others and the higher cotton content. He says they are soft and prefers these so far. I would rate the thickness as between the Dewalt and Kodiak. Also no smell at all, for which i am thankful.
