[Costco] LAVA HOT 15lb weighted blanket ($19.97) Reg: $70

Blue and Grey Colours. clearance price. Costs around $100-$120 on Amazon or other retail stores.

I bought 2 at Richmond location. Should be nationwide since they are clearing out all the old inventory.

Darn, I wish I had a costco card, but only my parents do, and they live hours from me. [removed]

Yeah, but I can't borrow the card, since the- hours from me part. Driving 5 hours- then 5 back kinda defeats the price savings lol.

1) You can sign up for a membership, buy the blanket, then go back to membership and ask for a refund - say you didn't find what you were looking for. Memberships are fully refundable at any time.

2) Costco app supports digital membership card - get credentials from your parents and hope they don't check the photo (photo is much clearer on the app than the cards)

If you're not in the "special needs" category, and believe this will help you sleep, enjoy your placebo:

Magical health benefits aren't really what matters, the added weight has tangible benefits. Your blankets stay in place way better due to the weight. I genuinely find the added weight to feel great as it just makes the entire sleeping experience feel better. And It likely has similar effects as hugging pillows, in that it provides a feeling of being embraced due to the added weight, which does have positive benefits in and of itself. I don't have mental health issues, but I love my 20lb blanket, and honestly want a heavier one. I sleep with it, flannel sheets, and a flannel duvet covered duvet in the winter, and love the weight. I miss it a lot during the summer.

Im gonna pick one up just to try it. I usually don't like anything touching me when I sleep so this will be an experience. I've gone from having 2 pillows and a blanket to having just a pillow on my bed. Some nights do get chilly but im too lazy to walk to the linen closet to grab something warm so ill shiver until I get tired and eventually fall asleep.
