I've checked all over Calgary... No luck
FWIW- For anyone in AB; a rep at my local Costco checked their system and apparently the item shows as on-order for November arrival for a whole bunch on warehouses in AB. Who knows how accurate that is or what price they’ll be when stock arrives.

I'll ask my dentist if I can buy a spare one. She puts one on my lap whenever she takes x-rays. So comfy.

That’s odd. Even philharmonic up above posted that it’s bunches up in the corners . I found this happened so one side was basically just cloth with no beads in it!
Did you buy it this year? I just unzipped the cover - it's got pockets separated by the stitching. I usually even it out, and it stays flat on the bed. I sleep well with it, although it can get a bit hot if the fan isn't on.

I agree! I actually mentioned it to my endodontist and she says the inside of the apron has a sheet of lead to protect against the radiation. It can’t be folded and has to be kept flat, which is why it is hung flat out by its straps when not in use.

Yes l I bought it in August . And yes, I do get hot so have to kick it off every now and then, but with the Costco one, that’s when the beads would bunch upon the corners

I bought this 15 lbs weighted blanket at regular price a couple of months ago and ultimately returned it. I found that it was too warm and not heavy enough.
15 is pretty light for an adult to be using, but if it works for someone then hey, go for it.

I've been looking to try one to see if it would help me, but I'm not sure that it will. I'm one that likes to sleep with one leg outside the covers.

Unless one has a specific reason to be using one, it's probably not going to be helpful to have one and, generally, it's more purposeful to those who have anxiety. However, there really is not one single method of dealing with that so it's different person to person.

If anyone knows about the status of either Ancaster or Cambridge, I'd be much obliged. Not a big deal because, as I say, 15 is light for an adult. Though 2 and stick 'em together. Probably be a little heavy, I think 25 would probably be the appropriate weight for me.

Just a note: 15 is likely the upper weight limit. Im a big guy and have a 20lb blanket of another brand.

Its too heavy even for me. Like a brick. Im close to 200lbs myself.

Unless you like the "bondage" feeling. Breathing may even be an issue. Choose wisely. But, its Costco. Return at will
That’s what I’m concerned about. Claustrophobic effect? Probably won’t be comfy for me. Too confining.

Not sure if this has been mentioned in the last 12 pages, but Richmond and PoCo are out of stock.
