Spending $300 on a lego set during these times especially is not in the cards for most of us.

Gotta admit, this is pretty awesome as I think the Tim Burton batmobile is the bestest version evaarrr......

But sadly, as others said $300 for a Lego set isn't in the cards during good times....let alone now with so much economic uncertainty...

The next few years are going to be hard for my family and I....so need to hunker down and conserve as much cash flow now as possible

Completely agree. Especially with a 20% pay cut reduction until the end of the year...

It won't. The cost per piece is less than almost every smaller set.

It was briefly on sale at Amazon and Chapters for $240 in early March. I'm still mad that I missed out on that deal.

Unfortunate for someone in the Lego thread from chapters he got a bunch of random junk instead of the batmobile....

This is tempting. I really liked this batmobile as a kid. But I still have the UCS falcon sitting in a box so it is hard to justify this..

I really wish Lego would come out with more sets this size/# of pieces to build.

I am SUPER SAD I never did get the Porsche GT3 (Orange Porsche)....

Debating if this would look good between the Bugatti Chiron and Porsche RS?

This will look much better. The technic stuff has it's own charm, mostly for inner workings and what not, but not for realism. I have the GT3 still in a box lol

Would you be willing to part with it for the correct price?

PM me and perhaps we can work something out!

I remember seeing that! Did the situation end up getting resolved? I imagine at least a few people through that deal actually got the real set.

What? Lego has been churning out big sets for over a decade now. Plenty to choose from if you want big builds.
