Just bought LG 32" for $199.99 (after discount $23). I think it is a good price.

How far is a good distance for this monitor?Brewmeanie wrote: ↑ 32" at 1080p... your viewing distance better be far away

Honestly, whatever you're comfortable with. In 2015, I used a 42" Insignia 1080p from 2 feet away, other than the Gamma Rays emanating from this cheap panel, it was a livable experience.

Doubtful, the cheapest I've seen was $350 for a 32" VA 4K panel.kitkatneko wrote: ↑ there is another one 32" for $298 that is at least 2k res...

YMMV but I've seen the LG 32" 1440p monitor for 289.99 at my Costco for the past few months.redflagdealsguy wrote: ↑ Doubtful, the cheapest I've seen was $350 for a 32" VA 4K panel.

Funny you say that, how many workplaces offer worse setups for their employees? I'm sure he'll be fine at any productive distance.Ireojimayo wrote: ↑ I'd say about 1m, maybe a bit less

I'd say unless this is solely for console gaming where 1440p will never be used and you'll probably lean back in your chair increasing the distance, kitkatneko wrote: ↑ there is another one 32" for $298 that is at least 2k res...
