Compared to those non-sale prices, seems like a good deal, based on specs and size, seems aight

Nice deal but smallish for a TV, biggish for a monitor. Perhaps good for Vancouver's shoebox-sized apartment rooms.

Definitely. I will be using it as a bedroom TV and for that, the size is perfect.

Anyone have this as a computer monitor? Have a 34 inch ultrawide and still wishing I had more real estate. Getting into a 43 "monitor" or a bigger ultrawide is significantly more than this TV.

Think you’ll probably lose workable real estate going from 21:9 to a 16:9 screen.

That's probably true. I just figured with a "bigger" screen and 4k resolution, I may gain some vertical real estate back. Currently, resolution is 3440 x 1440 on the ultrawide.

I went lg 4k 43" and it was the best decision I've ever made. The amount of screen realestate was perfect for work.

Use a Dell 43" monitor at work and absolutely love it. I use a 32" at home and miss the space of the larger one sometimes.

As long as you have enough space to push the monitor back on your desk it's great. Price is decent, but it seems to go on sale fairly often.

Would be way too small as a TV for me... But my tv is 77" so I'm biased.

Are you able to share a pic of what it looks like? How do you find turning it off and on? Remote or physical button? Switching inputs? I have 2 computers hooked up - 1 work and 1 personal.

I guess with Costco, at least the returns are easier.

I use the remote for everything. I've got it hooked into a desktop, laptop, multiple gaming consoles. It's very versatile

I took a side picture and it's definitely thicker than most slim TVs I have seen. When you wall mount, it will add another 1-2". I don't have a front picture but the bezel is very thin (check out stock photos online to get an idea)

I got it earlier last week for the same price but was only to set it up as a pc monitor in the weekend with some tinkering. I came from a 32 inch qhd (1440p) and so the 43 inch 4K (2160p) is some difference to me. Out of box it is very washed out and so one need to tinker with the settings to one liking. Once setup, I am still getting use to it as it is much bigger and I am only about 3 to 3.5 feet away. I do not look at the lg web os in details yet.

Too bad kids now won't enjoy the good old days when when we'd crowd around a 14" crt to play NES!

Anyway if its really too small the 50" version is $489.

This (UP75xx) comes with IPS panel, so it is good for angles but looks like contrast on this one is not the best.

I have 49inch previous Gen 4K for my "alternative" 2nd monitor just in case I need run multiples,
this 43 inch might just do as well for ppl if you have room for it and you prefer 4K with decent size of fonts/display lol
