You guys weren't kidding coming from a Sharp Aqous this is like alot nicer. I had a few dumb questions:

#1: For some reason when i plug my optical cable in (hooked up to a few bookshelf speakers the sound won't play unless i turn it to internal speakers+optical setting, if i switch just to optical i don't hear sound other then a weird noise once in a while

#2: If I want to scrub my cable, and just use apps, can I get stuff like sportsnet app to watch my games? Can u add more apps then the default ones?

#3: Google Home setup, I can turn the TV off with it linked through LGlink to google home with the television in a room. however it is "off" so if i try to turn it on nothing happens. (I also end up with it back on the default input which is static lol)

No, if anything, prices crawl back up beginning January for the CX’s.

The new TV’s will start at like ~$2500 (55”) and slowly drop to ~$1900 by the end of the year.

This has been my observations for the past 3+ years of closely following the prices.

What is the lowest that you have observed the 65” to go? Been waiting for the LG CX 65” to drop below $2600

Lowest I believe was $2600 (though not %100 sure as i wasn't watching the 65" model in particular).

Generally the Manufacturer will set the sale prices. That's why they tend to all drop, or be on sale at the same time.

However, if you go to lets say "Visions" or "2001," they can lower it 5-10% more in person (but they can't advertise below the stated/manufacturer approved price).

However, I would only buy an OLED from Costco because of their awesome return policy and cheap extended warranty (though they won't budge on their prices).
