How does this compare with the recent TCS 75 Series 5 deal for 885 on Amazon? Which is a better TV?

Probably not as good as the TCL, despite the higher cost.

The native 120hz does seem to appeal. Not sure if this TV is worth 200 more though

This is an entry-level TV. No local dimming so probably poor HDR. However, it says native 120Hz. Can't find rating anywhere.

This always goes on sale for this price and no it's not even comparable to the 2021 TCL 5 Series.

Been looking for a 75" for the Bonus room as my temp tv is in there now but will be moved to the bedroom.

This fits the bill but I'm afraid I will be spoiled because right now I have a LG C1 65".

First world problems!

For background TV playing, it probably doesn't matter. This is a TV that goes in your great room above a fireplace in order to impress your guests with how big your TV is.

Native 120hz for this purpose doesn't really matter either.

I would not consider it a legit review. This reviewer probably never has seen this TV. It is one of those sites to pump as many products as possible to earn an affiliate commission.

lol
The UN9070 also gives you decent picture quality, even at wide angles. That’s something the manufacturers of most LED TVs can’t say.
A few paragraphs later...
Cons:
It comes with the typical poor viewing angles associated with LED televisions

the 65in is also at discount at 797.99

https://www.costco.ca/lg-65-in.-smart-4 ... 99124.html

Seems to be roughly in line with the Nanocell90 as far as specs go

the UN90 series look like it's a older gen TV with α7 Gen3 Processor 4K vs NANO90 series α7 Gen4 AI Processor 4K

no VRR (Variable Refresh Rate)
no local diming?

spec for the 65in

I apologize. I admit that I didn't read the "review" before posting the link since I'm not interested in that TV. I responded to the "Can't find rating anywhere".

I had an intuition that it was that kink of review site but I thought at least it would give more info.

Not even! After reading the review: that site is garbage!

I deleted my post and I hope the others who quoted me will do the same.

Should I go with this or the Hisense U6GR?? Casual TV watching and a little gaming.

For his casual TV watching, the local dimming would be more beneficial than having 120hz. The back lit LCDs are just **puke**

Guess it really depends on how much you are actually going to be playing games at 120fps (which most games are rendered in 1080p). And lose the ability to enjoy Insomniac Games' 40fps 120hz modes.
