It's to prevent damaging your TV!IceCreamGee wrote: ↑ ABL kills it for me, unless this can be disabled via a hidden menu. This function is ultimately pushing me away. My samsung lcd has it and it drives me mental.

I understand it's to prevent burn in, but I would still take the risk over it. The issue is I know when ABL kicks in, my eyes are already trained to see it because of my old LCD. It's like a dead pixel, you know where it is, and you'll always notice it no matter how hard you try to avoid it. I'd rather have it off and enjoy using my tv the way I want to.

There was a bunch of damaged box when they were first listed. Had 55" for $2200 I think and cannot remember the 65" price.

I believe if you sign up through the CRA it's $2000 a month but if you sign up through Service Canada it's smaller installments.slayerwulf wrote: ↑ Is CERB only paid monthly? I thought it was $1000 every 2 weeks.

Not so much burn in but heat. It prevents premature failure.IceCreamGee wrote: ↑ I understand it's to prevent burn in, but I would still take the risk over it.
