[Costco] LG CX 65 Smart 4K OLED TV back in stock - $2,597.99!!

Costco - Back in stock with around 97 in stock. as of FEB 25, 2021

This is boxing week pricing again, for those who missed out. Still good for what it is compared to LG oleds announced at CES.

For those who order at $2,697 - you can call in if there is still stock at $2,597 price to get a $100 refund - I did so at the beginning of Feb 2021 and received the refund.

Also could be bought at for the same price:

Just not as good warranty value options - if you plan on getting the LG direct warranty grab one from these retailers.

What's the size of your room.. And how far is your couch or sitting area from the tv?
If you're about 8 feet or more go with 65
If less some people are comfortable with a 55.
I personally like 65 even at 6 or 7 feet viewing distance

I thought about the same thing - 2.1 support for X900H is still delayed, where as I am enjoying the PS5 already with almost all the features I want. Netflix is great especially when watching shows like Chefs table with Dolby Vision.

For the difference this one is definitely worth it for PQ and proper gaming support in comparison to others in the $1,500-3000 range. If the X950H had HDMI 2.1 I would have compared the two but X900H is kind of comparing the OLED to something much lower for PQ. My 2 cents, and here is Rtings

The only other thing to consider is placement of the TV where you need more nits, however the CX gets close already to the Sony, if you want proper bright room performance go for Hisense Q9G (H9G) or Samsung Q80T.

The panel on my X930E failed last week (horizontal and vertical lines on power up). I haven’t had the best of luck with Sony reliability over the past couple of decades, so now I have the LG. The Sony (any of the X9xx series, really) is a light cannon compared to the OLED but overall I’m much more pleased with the 65CX.

There's nothing like an LG OLED, sometimes I like to pretend Sony is just as good, but I prefer LG.

I use my stately LG C8 OLED 55" as a PC Monitor with zero eye strain. My old refrain is that OLED is 2025 tech dropped on unassuming 2015 consumers. I walk away for a while... forget about things, and come back to the screen and I'm blown away like it's the first time. There's rarely a piece of tech in my life that elicits such a response.

I've spoiled myself on the OLED experience and it's hard to go back now.

The blacks are the truest you'll ever find in a tv with no backlight bleed on the corners, as well as the colours are so rich and deep you'll feel that you're actually there in the scene.

Watching any nature show on it will make you forget it's still winter in Canada currently.

Once you see it you'll never want to go back to any other tv

Hype is that it was the best tv of last year. I bought one to replace a vizio p55-c1 that had been giving me issues and there's no comparison. This tv just looks better and clearer with everything.
