Actually, I like it when people give readers a point of reference so that they can judge whether it's a good deal or not. Also like the other user, I feel that I missed the deal; so now, I can make a call on whether to jump in or to hold. Thank you.

I think the only real seller on that HP was the higher res display. RAM and SSD same and CPU passmarks were pretty close although I think the HP had a newer gen chip (could be wrong, don’t quote me). Granted this LG is still $100 more for seemingly less laptop. So the LG you’re paying $100 more for a worse screen but ultra lightweight and far superior build quality (relative to HP). I think this is still a pretty decent deal for those that value a super light weight machine.

Eh not really. I bought two, already returned one. Returning the second one today. Great screen and it's pretty, but build quality sucks, Wi-Fi issues, and lots of little things.
Might be the best option at that price, but I think I'd rather spend more and get more.

No usb-c display out... Kind of disappointing for an ultra portable.

I am connected it to a monitor using USB-C to Display Port cable, if that’s what you were referring to.

oh that was not in the spec online! so you can do USB-C display out, now you put me back on the fence.

Edit: Just went though the manual. Looks like usb c supports PD as well. But hoping to hold the line until $597 ;D
