How does this survive outdoors in montreal winters.
You can just put sand bags on top of it, no need to fill it

Do you recall how many they had in stock?
And was it the sale price?

Ouff, I hate going to Scarborough location. That's the worst layout of any Costco I've been to in Canada & USA.
Never been to Newmarket, may give it a go tomorrow.

Was I the only one thinking ... wait, aren't all basketballs portable?

Nevertheless, makes me wish I had a driveway.

Are these allowed to be on the streets/boulevard of homes or is that a regional bylaw depending on locale?

It's by law not to have it on the street. It all really depends how crappy your neighbourhood is, some people will complain for to the city for no reason at all. Had mine on my lawn and facing the street for 4 years now and no complain. I let neighbours play when I don't use it.

Ajax apparently has 2 in their system, but one is a floor model and didn't see a box for another.

Picked one up at Oshawa, which still had 5 on the floor and possibly more in stock (Ajax associate told me Oshawa had 18 in their system).

There were 6-7 left at Costco Ste-Foy. It's a bit of a pain to assemble but a few box sets, a good drill/impact and a helper.... but we recommend a pickup truck as a platform, makes things much easier!
