Shippsy will bring it across the border for you if your in the Centre of the universe. Just started using them and my US purchases are picked up in Mississauga for less than$10 in handling fees.

Tried it out this week
This is replacing a 6 year old colemen X-treme cooler which I was never happy with.

Ice I used all solid and all at once no precooling, left outside, mostly in shade moderate heat:
4L, 500ml, 500ml, 1L
I had a small bit of ice left in the 4L after 54 hours. In comparison the coleman absolutely sucked and I would need to add ice after first 24 hours.

The bearproof rating was great as I felt no issues with leaving it outside all day and all night.
It was solid enough to comfortably sit on while putting on shoes (180lbs), it was so convenient. I can see that as a big plus for rotomolded coolers (this one is not rotomolded).
I liked the rope handles, would hate to use the plastic edging to hold.

Monoprice is more but honestly, I think the big deciding factor on that is if you feel too heavy to sit on the Lifetime for changing your shoes. Monoprice is a chunk more.

I don't know if I should be happy but I am.

Ive had one of the cheapest Coleman coolers for a decade and never once felt it was going to break. Has anyone ever say on a cooler and had it break?

Yep, coleman extreme, I could feel the lid bend and so worried about warping it.

It did not make sense to me how this cooler or many coolers were bear proof so I investigated. It isn't bear proof and it is.

I found Lifetime's youtube video on the bear proofing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1pDVyU4MbY

Yeti does the same thing and they note the latches easily get torn off.
So to make this bear proof you need the right size locks, one on each corner.
Maye this is just common sense but I didn't know before.

On a positive note if your bear of an in-law decides to sit on it you don't have to worry unless they are bigger than a grizzly.

Anyone know of cheaper options for baskets to put in it. The yeti ones are crazy expensive lol.

Just an update for anyone interested about ice retention/ quality.

Started my road trip with 2x 4L frozen water jugs and maybe 5 large frozen yogurt containers of ice. Tried to be reasonable about only opening the cooler as little as possible, but while canping that's tricky. Also added some slightly warmer groceries one or two times. Ice was still present up until day 8 when I decided to add more just in case. Quality cooler for sure, very competitive vs Pelican / Yeti etc.
