[Costco] Maytag 1.9 cu ft Stainless Steel Over the Range microwave - Price Error @ $279?

I was looking for an over the range microwave. Best Price I could find this model for was Canadian Appliance where they were going to sell it for $525. Went onto the Costco site and found it for $279 after $300 savings. Not sure if this is a price error but seems to be a pretty good deal.

Full link as URL was getting truncated:

https://www.costco.ca/maytag-1.9-cu.-ft ... 61826.html

Thanks.

Why would it be an error when
It’s a one day sale

This or the Galanz? Galanz looks much nicer but this is pricier.

$579 with $300 off in cart. Why would you think that it's a price error?

My microwave died a few days ago. Was waiting for Black Friday but this is great enough for me. Ordered and upvoted. Thanks OP.

I ordered Galanz too, and I haven't opened that one yet. I've ordered this one now as well. Let's see which one I keep at the end Face With Tears Of Joy.

17” height? It’s nearly double the height of the Galanz (10”)… Different ballgame for space. If you just have a fan, the Galanz adds a bit of height. If you can spare the space, and have 17”, then go for this at $80 more as you’ll get much more room in the oven. That being said, this Maytag is a big machine.

Thanks OP, bought one. Is the purchase of Excellence Plus+ 3 Year recommended?

This does look like a sweet microwave. Browning feature seems awesome. Basically a microwave / air fryer. I wish I didn’t have OCD and needed all my appliances to be the same brand.

Also I’m cheap so that brand happens to be Samsung. But on the bright side I just got the Samsung 1.7 OTR the other day and got it for 199$ at Home Depot. It’s 315$ on there website and it was 249$ in store, and the sales guy gave me 50$ off.

At the end of the day I rarely use a microwave anyways I just needed it to fill a hole in a new construction build. (The builder actually charges 450$ to remove the over range microwave hole) which is insane to me but I get it as it needs to get filled with cabinets which aren’t cheap plus there mark up… so in the end this microwave saved me 250$ out of pocket lol

Too bad the Maytag is not 16”… not having that extra inch between stovetop and microwave limits the limited space I already have.

If you can work with the unit’s dimensions it’s a Good deal.

Tell us more, OP! Like maybe how's the rest of the new construction build looking?...
