Ya even during covid peak, it was unreasonably packed. At least, from the looks of things, there are not much incentives to go in — wallet safe.

I have the KODA slim LED lights. I like them. Easy to install. Nothing fancy. They are rounded on the top, flat on the bottom. So if you mount them somewhere where you'll be coming down the stairs and can see the top, there is a gap between the ceiling and the light fixture (except where it connects to the back box of course). Other annoying thing is how it handles switching the colour temperature. It changes if you switch the light off, then back on again within a couple seconds. Doesn't happen often, but with it was just a switch on the light fixture...

Well, that's why I qualified it by saying if you're coming down the stairs. The one in my laundry room does not have this issue. This one is at the landing in my basement. So I notice it when I come down the stairs. But I suspect I'm the only one looking for it every time I go downstairs...

The only issue with these lights is , unlike a bulb , you trash these and reinstall other ones when they decide to die
Had quite a few issues with Costco light fixtures that have proprietary led systems .

Yea.. artika for eg .. were really bad led drivers.. I bought 4 of those 4ft ones and had to return 3... one is still working.. after that I just buy fixtures where I can replace bulbs.

Damn I just bought the ski mask yesterday. Would they do price adjustment or should I just rebuy and refund?

That was the reason I avoided getting fixtures with integrated LEDs for years (no kidding). Once the led unit dies, you have to throw out the entire fixture.
And if the problem with creating that much of excess garbage is not enough, it's possible that if you were to buy a whole bunch of these to have matching lights on the floor, and then a couple of years down the line one of them dies out, and by then the same model is no longer available, good luck finding an exact replacement for that single light.

It's only recently I've finally pulled the plug and got these units from Amazon.

Yes, they're still considered integrated. But the way they're made, the round LED unit is actually replaceable.

You could get a new one off ebay and replace it yourself, without having to replace the whole fixture.

And that's definitely not the only model using such an approach, it's just not always clear which of them are done that way, since not every fixture shows what's going inside them.

Are the Steve Madden boots decent? With a price about a quarter of that of Blundstones and Costco's return policy I'm just curious if it makes sense

Anybody know if it's possible to disable the colour temperature switching function on the koda light and keep it on the same colour?

You should be able to adjust if you go in this weekend to do it.

You have up to 30 to do a PA on items. Just PA no need to rebuy and refund. Not sure if it's worth the time and gas to go back to the store for 5 bucks especially on a weekend, you'll end up spending 2 bucks or more in gas round trip.
