Any reason why this isn’t a hotter deal? Comes to $90 cheaper after taxes in BC. Any reason for me to spend extra on the Michelins?kunamvahees wrote: ↑ Pirelli - WINTER ICE ZERO FR also $150/tire - $100 off for set of 4 tires = $125/tire effective for 4 tires.

Literally the same situation for me. Get a printed quote from CT. It'll be good for 30 days.danielr85 wrote: ↑Hmm.
Michelin I-ice 235 65 17s for my odyssey $179 each or $719 for the set (plus fees + taxes + installation)
Not sure if this is a good deal or not? Seems reasonable but not sure how much these tires are regularly.
Probably could get one more year out of my ws80s I got on there now we barely drove anywhere this winter.
Edit: just checked Canadian tire and they have the same tires for $176 a tire or $700 for the set. They also had motormaster tires for $130/tire down from $208. Not use about the quality of them though, I know I’ve used xices on multiple cars and they have always been good tires.
Almost scored the x ice latitudes from CT for $115 each but they had only 1 tire left.

Too many cars bottomed out. People trying to drive through 12 inches of show (16 where I was) with Honda civics. Stay home.newuserhere wrote: ↑ Do you think even winter tires would have worked in 10-12inches of snow..?
People who got stuck probably didn't have their roads cleaned yet by city..

Last winter with tires I have and I hesitate to buy studded (like the Winter ICe Zera Fr studded) or the best non studded on ice. Studded is better in any case but more noisy.
Too bad they don't have the ws90 that are supposed to be excellent tires.
Pourquoi pas?

exactly, winter tires do jack when the car is bottoming out. My car (2WD) got stuck as soon as I left my driveway onto my side street. All I heard was hard chunks of snow hitting the undercarriage as I drove down the street.CaptainCrash wrote: ↑ Too many cars bottomed out. Even a 4WD car would have trouble if the ground clearance is not enough

How long do winter tires last ? Mine are 6 years old and I noticed they don't grip as well as when they were new.

I don’t understand… they’re listed at 139 but go to 184 when viewing the cart. Must be a bug.
